In 3D computer graphics it refers to the 2D rectangle used to project the 3D scene to the position of a virtual camera. A viewport is a region of the screen used to display a portion of the total image to be shown
On AutoCAD, viewport can be arranged into multiple views so you can see the same object from different sides. Viewport it self can be set with a number of ways:

If you see in the picture above, there are three viewport is top, front, and 3D. To set-Viewport, you can click on the viewport will be set and then select the menu View> Views

Layer Dalam AutoCAD
Yang di maksud Lapis gambar atau layer dalam autoCAD adalah perbedaan warna dan ukuran pada gambar yang di buat dengan tujuan agar gambar tersebut mudah untuk di baca dan di mengerti juga untuk mempermudah pengaturan obyek yang mempunyai karakteristik yang sama.
Dalam menggambar dengan autoCAD khususnya untuk gambar yang relative kompleks di sarankan agar gambar di buat dalam beberapa layer/lapis meskipun bisa juga di susun tanpa lapis.Seperti halnya kita menggambar secara manual dengan menggunakan rafido,tentunya kita butuh minimal 3 rafido lain ukuran bukan? Sebagai contoh Garis tepi dengan 0.5 mili,garis pokok 0.3 mili dan arsiran dengan 0.1 mili. Fungsi layer dalam AutoCAD kurang lebih sama dengan penggunaan rafido tersebut.
Ini adalah salah satu kelebihan menggambar dengan autoCAD,dimana ketebalan tiap garis bisa kita tentukan sendiri tanpa harus keluar duit membeli rafido di tambah lagi warna dari masing-masing karakter/garis bisa kita rubah, sehingga dengan mudah kita bisa membedakan karakter/garis satu dengan lainnya. Misalnya instalasi air kotor dengan air bersih atau arsir genteng dengan balok kasau.
Kita juga bisa dengan mudah mengganti layer apabila terjadi kesalahan pada saat proses menggambar sedang berlangsung. Tinggal klik ikon (seperti gambar di samping) pada object properties toolbar sehingga muncul kotak dialog Layer Properties Manager. Klik karakter yang hendak kita ganti,setelah berwarna lain tinggal masukkan data baru yang kita inginkan.
Jika layer belum pernah kita edit maka pada layer properties manager tampak kosong. Untuk menambah layer yang kita inginkan tinggal klik New (di kanan atas). Beri nama sesuai kebutuhan misal (arsir atau garis potong) Klik color untuk memilih warna layer, linetype untuk merubah garis ( sambung atau putus-putus), lineweight untuk ketebalan garis (misal 0.5 buat garis tepi). setelah selesai klik OK

From my firsst day in technological innovation university, until my past place as technological innovation manager; I have gotten to analyze Solidworks vs AutoCAD aspect by aspect. Customize a Publish to Web Template
You can create customized templates to use in the Publish to Web wizard by modifying one of the Publish to Web template (PWT) files provided. Use any HTML editor or text editor.
To create a custom template, add or modify any of the following elements:
Images
Text
Hyperlinks
Color
Title
Video, animation, and so on
There are four default Publish to Web templates that you can customize:
Array of Thumbnails. Creates a web page containing an array of thumbnail images.
Array Plus Summary. Creates a web page containing an array of thumbnail images and summary information about each image.
List of Drawings. Creates a web page containing a list of drawings and an image frame.
List Plus Summary. Creates a web page containing a list of drawings, an image frame, and summary information about a selected image.
NoteYou must be familiar with HTML syntax to customize the Publish to Web templates.
You can make changes or additions to the look and feel of a template, but you cannot change the arrangement of images within it. For example, in the Array of Thumbnails template, the images are presented across the page in rows. You cannot alter the presentation of the images, but you can wrap text and graphics around the table of images.
WarningTo ensure that you do not overwrite the default Publish to Web template files, back up those files before you make any changes to them.

Create Command Aliases
A command alias is an abbreviation that you enter at the command prompt instead of entering the entire command name.
For example, you can enter c instead of circle to start the CIRCLE command. An alias is not the same as a keyboard shortcut, which is a combination of keystrokes, such as CTRL+S for SAVE.
An alias can be defined for any AutoCAD command, device driver command, or external command. The second section of the acad.pgp file defines command aliases. You can change existing aliases or add new ones by editing acad.pgp in an ASCII text editor (such as Notepad). To open the PGP file, click Assist Customize Edit Program Parameters (acad.pgp)Click Tools menu Customize Edit Program Parameters (acad.pgp). The file can also contain comment lines preceded by a semicolon (;).
NoteBefore you edit acad.pgp, create a backup so that you can restore it later, if necessary.
To define a command alias, add a line to the command alias section of the acad.pgp file using the following syntax:
